Medical institutions in Ecuador and Panama announce healthcare conferences

Medical and psychological institutions in Ecuador and Panama have announced upcoming academic conferences focused on specialized healthcare and mental wellness.

In Loja, Ecuador, Solca Núcleo de Loja will host the academic session ‘Atención Segura para Toda la Vida’ on September 25, 2026. The event aims to address patient safety and risk prevention in medical care, featuring presentations on oncology safety, high-risk medications, and patient communication. The session is intended for healthcare professionals, administrative staff, and students.

In Panama, the University of Panama’s Faculty of Psychology will hold the 2026 Mental Health Conference throughout October. Under the theme ‘Sanar es un acto de conciencia: clínica, ciencia y compromiso con la vida’, the program includes lectures on sexual education, perinatal loss, and the autism spectrum. Additional activities include expert panels on the relationship between nutrition and mental health, as well as the impact of technology on sleep and the brain.
