Medical mission held in El Madrigal, San Francisco de Macorís

A collaborative medical mission was held at the Josefa Emilia Ortega School in the El Madrigal sector of San Francisco de Macorís. The initiative was led by the Duarte Area Health Management of the National Health Service (SNS), Deputy Yani Ventura, and the Duarte branch of Rehabilitation.

Participants received medical consultations, preventive care, and free medications provided by PROMESE/CAL and private laboratories. The event also facilitated social protection by offering registration and affiliation services for the Subsidized Regime of the National Health Insurance (SeNaSa). Dr. Oscar A. Paula Bretón, the Duarte Area Health Manager, noted that these community interventions strengthen primary care and help identify local health needs.
