Medical professionals gather in Dominican Republic for Fluter Summit 2026

More than 200 national and international medical specialists participated in the inaugural Fluter Summit 2026 in the Dominican Republic. Organized by Fluter Domull, the academic meeting focused on the prevention, diagnosis, and specialized treatment of vascular diseases.

Under the theme ‘Vascular health and integral therapy: from prevention to specialized surgical management,’ the summit addressed topics such as cerebrovascular disease, atherosclerosis, endovascular procedures, and peripheral arterial disease. The event featured experts in interventional cardiology, neuroendovascular surgery, and vascular surgery.

Notable participants included Dr. Yafell Serulle from Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, Dr. Luis Suárez from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, and specialists from the Clínica Universitaria Unión Médica del Norte. Discussions also addressed the specific challenges of vascular health within the Dominican Republic.
