Medical professionals pass away in Olsztyn and Ciechanów

Several prominent medical professionals in Poland have recently passed away, drawing tributes from colleagues and patients.

In Olsztyn, the Wojewódzki Szpital Specjalistyczny mourned the death of Dr. Elżbieta Stefanowicz. As a long-time head of the Radiology Department and a regional consultant, she was credited with establishing the foundations of modern diagnostic imaging in the Warmia-Mazury region.

Additionally, the Warmińsko-Mazurskie Centrum Chorób Płuc in Olsztyn announced the passing of thoracic surgeon Dr. Janusz Jacek Gołota. Colleagues remembered him for his precision, experience, and the empathetic approach he maintained with his patients.

In Ciechanów, veterinarian Andrzej Gotz has also died at the age of 73. He was a well-known figure in the local community, recognized for his long career and dedication to animal care.
