Medical professionals receive regional appointments and international recognition

Dr. Abdallah Ouedraogo has been appointed as the ambassador for the SOS DOCTEUR TV Health Clubs within the Alliance of Sahel States (AES). A specialist in public health, Ouedraogo also works as a singer, writer, and comedian. His role, formalized through a convention signed in Lomé, aims to use music, humor, and social media to deliver health prevention and education messages to young people.

In Tunisia, dermatologist Asmahane Souissi has been awarded the 2027 Young Dermatologists Prize for International Success for the Africa region by the International League of Dermatological Societies. Souissi, based at the La Marsa Internal Security Forces Hospital, was selected following a record number of global applications. She is scheduled to officially receive the award at the 26th World Congress of Dermatology in Guadalajara, Mexico, in June 2027.
