Medical school entrance exams announced for 2027 in Brazil

Two Brazilian higher education institutions have announced the opening of registration for their 2027 medical school entrance exams (vestibular).

The Faculdade de Ciências da Saúde de Barretos Dr. Paulo Prata (Facisb) is offering 109 vacancies for its medicine course. Applications are open from August 26 to November 3, 2026, via the Vunesp website. The registration fee is R$ 398.00. The single-phase exam, consisting of 80 objective questions and an essay, will take place on November 28, 2026, in Barretos, Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, and Uberaba.

Separately, the Centro Universitário de Adamantina (FAI) is offering 100 full-time vacancies for its medicine program. Interested candidates must register online by November 29, 2026, with a registration fee of R$ 150. The exam is scheduled for December 6, 2026, at the institution's Campus II in Adamantina. The assessment will include 60 objective questions covering high school curriculum subjects and a Portuguese language essay.
