Medical specialists convene for cardiology and pulmonary hypertension updates

Medical professionals are gathering for specialized conferences focused on cardiology and pulmonary hypertension in Spain and Argentina.

In Seville, Spain, the II Update Conference on Pulmonary Hypertension was held at the Institute of Biomedicine of Seville (IBiS). The event brought together specialists in cardiology, pulmonology, internal medicine, and anesthesiology to improve early diagnosis and multidisciplinary care for this progressive rare disease. During the session, the Foundation Against Pulmonary Hypertension presented its RECÉTAME program, an initiative designed to assist healthcare professionals in patient support.

In Cipolletti, Argentina, the Regional Update Conference in Cardiology and the first Patagonian Conference of the Argentine Multidisciplinary Association of Chronic Thromboembolic Pulmonary Hypertension (AMAC) are scheduled for November 13. Organized alongside the Argentine Federation of Cardiology, the event aims to share advancements in cardiovascular disease treatment. Topics include pulmonary arterial hypertension, women's cardiovascular health, obesity, and diabetes, featuring workshops on invasive hemodynamic monitoring and echocardiographic evaluation.
