Medical specialists convene for vascular and anesthesiology congresses in Mexico

Medical specialists from the Dominican Republic participated in the HENDOLAT–Foro Venoso Mexicano 2026 held in Mexico City. Six specialists from the Dominican Society of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery (SDCVE) served as professors, speakers, and moderators, presenting on complex arterial and venous diseases, including mechanical thrombectomy and carotid artery aneurysms. The SDCVE is promoting the Dominican Republic as a potential host for the 2027 edition of the forum.

In Saltillo, Mexico, the National Meeting for Update in Perioperative Anesthesiology 2026 brought together 113 attendees and 32 national professors. The event focused on continuous medical training and patient safety, covering modules such as pediatric anesthesia, total intravenous anesthesia, and regional anesthesia. Practical workshops included ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia and mechanical ventilation, utilizing simulations and medical equipment to reinforce clinical knowledge.
