Medical technology industry focuses on AI and regulatory evolution

The medical technology industry in Germany is focusing on the intersection of innovation and regulation. The event will also present new study data regarding AI adoption among small and medium-sized medical technology enterprises, examining how these companies navigate increasing regulatory complexity.

Additionally, the inaugural ‘Treffpunkt Medizintechnik’ organized by DeviceMed in Frankfurt highlighted the growing convergence of technical fields. Industry professionals discussed how digitalization, cybersecurity, materials science, and automated manufacturing are increasingly interconnected, noting that developing networked medical devices requires integrated expertise in data architecture and regulatory compliance.
