Medicare 2026 premiums and insurance guidance updates
Medicare beneficiaries face varying costs for 2026, with standard Part B premiums set at $202.90 per month. Individuals earning more than $109,000 annually may be subject to higher income-adjusted rates. While most beneficiaries do not pay a monthly premium for Part A, those with 30 to 39 quarters of covered employment will see a monthly premium of $311, and those with fewer than 30 quarters will pay $565.
Coverage options differ significantly between traditional Medicare and Medicare Advantage. Traditional Medicare has no annual limit on out-of-pocket spending, often leading beneficiaries to seek Medigap policies. Conversely, Medicare Advantage plans feature an annual out-of-pocket cap for in-network services set at $9,250 for 2026.
In response to the complexity of these choices, nMedix Health & Life is expanding its insurance guidance services. The agency provides one-on-one assistance to consumers in Florida, North Carolina, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Texas, focusing on comparing Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and life insurance options to help families manage costs, provider access, and prescription drug coverage.
