Medieval markets draw visitors to Steinau and Kamen

Medieval-themed markets are drawing crowds in various German towns. In Steinau an der Straße, the annual medieval market, established in 2010 by the Trimburger Ritterschaft, continues to attract visitors to the historic old town. The event features knights, jesters, musicians, and craftsmen set against the backdrop of Steinau Castle and the town's historic center.

Similarly, the Hansemarkt in Kamen is preparing for its 2026 iteration. The event traditionally includes fire acrobatics as a highlight on Saturday evenings, featuring choreographed performances with flames and sparks at the Alten Markt.
