Medifast Inc Director Parsa Kiai has increased his stake in the company through two recent transactions. On August 20th, Kiai purchased 43,150 shares at an average cost of $11.60 per share, totaling approximately $500,540. This follows a previous purchase of 29,337 shares on August 19th at an average price of $11.66 per share.

Following these acquisitions, Kiai directly owns 661,306 shares, representing a 6.98% increase in his ownership. Medifast recently reported quarterly earnings per share of ($0.28), which exceeded analyst estimates of ($0.65).
