Medina Azahara begins farewell tour in Córdoba

The Andalusian rock band Medina Azahara has begun its farewell tour with a performance at the Teatro de la Axerquía in Córdoba. This concert marks the start of two consecutive dates in the city, signaling the end of the group's nearly five-decade career.

During the performance, vocalist Manuel Martínez addressed the audience, noting that the band is entering its final chapter. The setlist included notable tracks such as ‘Paseando por la mezquita’, ‘Algo nuevo’, ‘Palabras de libertad’, and ‘El soldado’. The performance featured the musical contributions of Paco Ventura on guitar, Manuel Ibáñez on keyboards, Carlos Deko on bass, and Fernando Prats on drums.
