Medipost brand Celltr to promote cord blood value at Seoul baby fair

Medipost’s cord blood bank brand, Celltr, is participating in the 50th BeFe Baby Fair held at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul, from September 10 to 13. The company aims to provide expectant parents with accurate information regarding the value and utility of cord blood and cord tissue.

Cord blood, which can only be collected once during childbirth, contains hematopoietic stem cells, stem cells, and immune cells used to treat various diseases. Interest in these biological resources has increased due to recent improvements in advanced regenerative medicine regulations and the expansion of stem cell research and clinical trials.

Celltr distinguishes between family cord blood banking, where parents pay to store resources for the newborn or family members, and donated cord blood banking, where mothers donate resources for free to assist patients in need. During the event, the company is hosting various promotions, including gifts for expectant parents and special benefits available through their official website and partner obstetrics and gynecology clinics throughout September.
