Medis Münster hosts congress on AI in medical practices

Medis Münster, an umbrella organization for medical practice networks in Münster, hosted the professional congress ‘Die Praxis der Zukunft’ (The Practice of the Future) on September 2, 2026. The event focused on providing guidance regarding artificial intelligence (AI) applications, practice software, and digital visibility in daily medical operations.

An interactive survey conducted during the congress revealed that most participants already utilize individual AI-supported tools, primarily for research, appointment scheduling, and patient communication. While approximately half of the attendees reported not yet using such tools, they expressed openness to implementation. Dr. Ralf Becker, a board member of Medis Münster, emphasized that AI-supported tools could provide concrete relief in the increasingly dense daily routine of medical practices.
