Mediterranean Poetry Festival 2026 to host Spanish and Greek poets

The 2026 Mediterranean Poetry Festival will host a cultural dialogue between Spanish and Greek poets at the Instituto Cervantes in Athens. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, September 8, at 19:30.

Six poets—four from Spain and two from Greece—will participate in the reading to showcase contemporary poetic creativity from both sides of the Mediterranean. The featured poets include Juan Carlos Abril, Mireia Calafell, Ledicia Costas, Ifigeneia Doumi, Inaciu Galán, and Stamatis Polenakis. The event is free to the public, subject to venue capacity.
