Mediterranean yacht charter trends define summer 2026 season

The 2026 summer yacht charter season in the Mediterranean was characterized by high activity in established hubs and specific popular vessels. Greece emerged as a leader in charter starts, with Athens recording 417 starts, more than double any other individual location.

Other major activity centers included the French Riviera, with Monaco, Cannes, and Nice serving as primary corridors. Croatia also maintained a strong presence, with significant charter starts recorded in Split and Dubrovnik.

Key vessels noted for their popularity included RH THREE, MILESTONE, VIKING III, ‘H, and ALHAMBRA. Success for these charters was attributed to factors such as exceptional crew, flexible accommodations, and diverse water-toy collections. Additionally, the Sunseeker motor yacht SONISHI has been made available for charters in the South of France through late September 2026.
