Mediviva acquires Centro Terapia Riabilitativa in Reggio Emilia

Mediviva RE S. r. l., a subsidiary of the Mediviva Group, has won the competitive auction for the Centro Terapia Riabilitativa (CTR) in Reggio Emilia. The facility is a long-standing outpatient clinic that has operated under accreditation with the Italian National Health Service (SSN) for nearly thirty years.

Mediviva CEO Anis Kassis stated that the immediate priority is to ensure continuity of care for patients and to preserve the clinical expertise and staff of the facility. The group aims to integrate the CTR into its growing network of healthcare structures in Northern Italy, fostering collaboration with the public health system.

The acquisition is part of a broader expansion strategy. Mediviva plans to acquire approximately ten more outpatient facilities by the end of the year and is potentially looking at hospital acquisitions. The group's leadership includes Sergio Venturi, former Regional Councilor for Health in Emilia-Romagna, as head of institutional relations, and Roberto Gallosti as operational director.
