Medjugorje documentary ‘El Último llamado de María’ to premiere in Latin America

The religious documentary ‘El Último llamado de María’ (Mary’s Last Call) is set to premiere in several Latin American countries. Directed by Erick Cotrina Pazos, the film explores the reported apparitions of the Virgin Mary in Medjugorje, Bosnia-Herzegovina, which have occurred since 1981.

Starting October 1, the film will be screened in Cinépolis theaters across Costa Rica, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Panama. A later release is scheduled for October 20 in Uruguay via Cines Movie. The production, supported by Quirófano Films and Producciones Gospa Online, features testimonies of conversion and healing from various countries.

Director Cotrina Pazos, a Panamanian resident of Peruvian origin, spent eight years developing the project with the assistance of priests Father Marlon and Father Francisco Verar. The film has received encouragement from Monsignor Aldo Cavalli, the Apostolic Visitor to Medjugorje, who urged its wide distribution to spread the message of the Virgin Mary.
