Medtech Global and RevealDx announce leadership change and investment to expand AI health tools in NZ and Australia

Medtech Global, a healthcare technology provider operating in New Zealand and Australia, named Dr Will Reedy as its new chief executive officer, effective 13 July 2026. Reedy, formerly CEO of Spark Health and a senior leader at Accenture’s Global Health Team, will focus on accelerating adoption of the company’s AI‑driven solutions, strengthening customer relationships across the two countries and driving regional growth.

Separately, AI lung‑nodule specialist RevealDx signed a distribution agreement and received a $3.4 million strategic investment from 4DMedical. The deal expands access to RevealDx’s FDA‑cleared, MDR‑certified and TGA‑approved product RevealAI‑Lung in the United States, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. 4DMedical, which recently acquired Austrian firm Contextflow, will distribute the technology and integrate it into its CT:VQ™ platform, aiming to improve early detection of potentially malignant lung nodules.

Both announcements underscore a broader push by medical‑technology firms to broaden AI‑enabled diagnostic tools across the Australasian market and beyond.
