Medtronic launches MiniMed 670G insulin pump in Europe

Medtronic has launched its MiniMed 670G hybrid closed-loop insulin pump system in Europe. The rollout began on October 10, initially covering the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Italy, and Slovenia.

Following the initial launch, Finland and Denmark are scheduled to receive the system. The expansion was marked by a Medtronic Diabetes Community Exchange held at the company’s European headquarters in Tolochenaz, Switzerland, which brought together diabetes advocates and bloggers from various European nations.
