Meerstad to host large-scale dragon boat race during Watersportdag

The annual Watersportdag in Meerstad will feature its third dragon boat race next Sunday. This year’s event is expected to be larger than previous editions, with sixteen teams of seven people each competing on the water. To increase the spectacle, organizers will have four boats racing simultaneously.

In addition to the dragon boat competition, the event at the Strandhuis will offer various water sports activities, including sailing, surfing, and wakeboarding, as well as a surfboard simulator and an obstacle course.
