Meerut woman arrested for allegedly drugging and attacking husband

A woman has been taken into custody in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, following an alleged attack on her husband. The incident occurred on October 8 in the Zaid Garden area under the Lisadi Gate police station limits.

According to police reports and a written complaint, the woman allegedly mixed a sedative into her husband’s coffee. Once he lost consciousness, she reportedly attacked his private parts with a knife. The victim sustained serious injuries and underwent surgery to control bleeding, with medical teams working to repair the damage.

The motive for the attack is believed to be a domestic dispute. The victim alleged that his wife suspected him of having an extramarital affair and intended to marry another woman. Circle Officer Kotwali Sangram Singh confirmed that a case has been registered and the accused is currently being questioned by authorities.
