Meesaya Murukku 2 set for worldwide release on September 25

The musical comedy-drama Meesaya Murukku 2, written, directed by, and starring Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi, is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on September 25, 2026.

Unlike the first film, which was a biopic based on the director's life, the sequel features a broader narrative spanning three different time periods. The story focuses on the lives, dreams, and struggles of musicians, specifically highlighting the world of Gaana artists.

Produced by Sundar C, Khushbu, and A. C. S. Arun Kumar under Avni Movies and Benz Media Private Limited, the film's cast includes Ketika Sharma, Chaithra J. Achar, Yogi Babu, Karunas, and Nassar. In Kerala, the film will be distributed by Bright Screen and Dream Big Films. A promotional tour is set to take place in cities including Chennai, Coimbatore, and Madurai.
