Meesho stake sold by Elevation Capital, Peak XV for 1.95 trillion rupees

Elevation Capital and Peak XV Partners sold their combined 2.3% holding in Indian e‑commerce platform Meesho. The two firms off‑loaded 10.48 crore shares in the open market for a total of 1,949.28 crore rupees, at an average price of about 186 rupees per share. Following the transaction, Meesho’s share price on the NSE slipped to around 190.50 rupees, a decline of roughly one percent.

The sale reduced Elevation Capital’s stake from 12.04% to 10.91% and Peak XV’s from 10.06% to 8.93%. Despite the divestment, both firms remain among Meesho’s largest public shareholders alongside Naspers, which holds 11.27%, and SoftBank’s SVF‑2 Meircate (DE) LLC, with an 8.60% stake. Buyers of the shares included domestic mutual‑fund houses, insurance companies and global institutional investors.
