SK-II launches first hand cream featuring Pitera™

SK-II has announced the release of its first hand cream, the ‘SK-II Hand Treatment Cream’, scheduled for launch on November 20. The product is designed as an aging care solution that incorporates the brand’s signature Pitera™ ingredient.

Inspired by the smooth hands of sake brewery workers, the formula utilizes a ‘deep lock lamellar structure’ to deliver moisture through thick stratum corneum. The cream also contains niacinamide to help maintain hydration and elasticity. It features a scent inspired by mizunara, a wood used in whiskey and sake barrels, offering woody, fruity, and floral notes. The product aims to address dryness, loss of firmness, and uneven texture, with a non-greasy finish suitable for immediate use with electronic devices.
