Meeting room technology evolves with E-ink and AI solutions

New technologies are being introduced to enhance meeting room management and collaboration. Panasonic Life Solutions India has launched the RoomBook range, a series of meeting room displays developed in India. These devices utilize E-ink panel technology to provide low-power operation and feature four-color status indicators to communicate room availability and priority bookings. The range includes a 7.5-inch model for individual rooms and an 11.6-inch model for larger spaces like boardrooms. The system supports integration with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and iCal.

In the Middle East, BenQ has introduced the BenQ Board CP05, an advanced interactive display designed for hybrid collaboration. The device incorporates Edge AI via a dedicated Neural Processing Unit powered by MediaTek AI architecture, allowing AI workloads to be processed directly on the device for improved responsiveness and privacy. Available in 55-inch and 75-inch models, the display aims to transform meeting rooms into active collaboration hubs through intelligent conferencing and enhanced security.
