Meezan Bank surpasses PKR 3 billion in housing disbursements

Meezan Bank has surpassed PKR 3.05 billion in cumulative disbursements under the Government of Pakistan’s flagship affordable housing initiative, the Wazir-e-Azam Apna Ghar Programme – Ghar Ho Tu Apna (GHTA).

Through its Easy Home financing solution, the bank has provided 100% Shariah-compliant financing to 490 families. The bank reports a significant pipeline of future disbursements, having approved more than 3,000 housing finance applications under the GHTA Programme, totaling over PKR 22.557 billion in cumulative approved financing.

Ahmed Ali Siddiqui, Group Head of Consumer Finance & Digital Banking at Meezan Bank, stated that affordable home ownership is a key strategic priority for the institution and that the bank remains committed to supporting the government's affordable housing agenda.
