MEGA Channel to premiere new comedy series ‘Camping’

The Greek television network MEGA is launching a new comedy series titled ‘Camping’, which is scheduled to premiere on Monday, September 21, at 21:00. The network plans to air the first three episodes consecutively on September 21, 22, and 23.

Set at the ‘Allos Kosmos’ campsite located just outside Athens, the story follows Iordanis, a law-abiding accountant played by Odysseas Papaspyliopoulos. His life is upended when he becomes entangled with a criminal organization, prompting him to flee with his two children and a bag containing 600,000 euros of uncertain origin. Seeking refuge in a dilapidated caravan, Iordanis must navigate an eccentric community of residents and the unpredictable campsite owner, Sofoklis, while attempting to evade his former superior, Paris.

The series is directed by Sergios Konstantinidis, with a screenplay by Elena Solomou and Kostis Papadopoulos. The production features a cast including Giorgos Chrysostomou, Vicky Stavropoulou, Nadia Kontogeorgi, Niki Pallikaraki, Anastasia Stylianidi, Giannis Dalianis, and Bessy Malfa.
