Mega City Force launches on major gaming consoles

Mega City Force, a retrowave action roguelike, has officially launched on multiple gaming consoles. The title is now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

Set in a retrofuturistic city, the game features procedurally generated levels and allows players to combat crime and megacorporations either solo or via couch co-op with a teammate. Players can utilize various agents, weapons, and special abilities to navigate the environment. Completing the initial playthrough unlocks additional difficulty levels, loadouts, and legendary outfits.

The game utilizes a pixel art aesthetic inspired by 1980s and 1990s action movies and video games. The soundtrack features synthwave music from artists such as timecop1983 and sublunar.
