Mega Fundeira river beach offers rural heritage and natural beauty in Pedrógão Grande

The Mega Fundeira river beach, located in Pedrógão Grande, is highlighted as a significant local tourism destination in central Portugal. Situated near the Zêzere river and the National Road 2, the site is noted for its crystal-clear water and tranquil environment.

A key feature of the location is a restored schist watermill that has been converted into a bar, offering a shaded terrace under traditional grapevines. The area includes amenities such as a picnic park with barbecues, sanitary facilities, outdoor showers, and pet-friendly spaces.
