Mega Man official comic book hits Kickstarter goal in 30 minutes

Capcom's mascot Mega Man will celebrate its 40th anniversary next year. To mark the milestone, Capcom plans to release a new main‑series game, Mega Man: Dual Override, the first in nine years.

Series creator Matthew Taranto, best known for the Brawl in the Family comics, received Capcom's approval to publish an official hardcover book titled Mega Man: Bot in the Family. The book offers more than 200 pages of humorous comic strips that recount the entire 40‑year history of the Mega Man series. It was launched on Kickstarter, where the funding target was met in just 30 minutes. Both digital and hardcover editions are available, along with deluxe versions for collectors.
