Journalists Dinos Siomopoulos and Stella Gantona returned to the air on Saturday, September 5, for the premiere of the new season of ‘MEGA Weekend’. The duo, who have collaborated for seven years, hosted the morning news program starting at 05:40.

The program, which has been broadcasting on MEGA since 2020, aims to provide real-time updates on politics, economy, and social issues. During the premiere, the presenters used humor to celebrate their long-standing partnership, with Gantona comparing their professional bond to a fragrance that does not need changing.

Initial television ratings for the new season showed ‘MEGA Weekend’ achieving a 14 rating during its morning slot, performing strongly among the various competing morning programs on other Greek networks.
