Megaboard factory fire in Elazığ leaves five workers injured

A fire broke out at the Megaboard factory, a chemical insulation plant located in the Elazığ Organized Industrial Zone. The cause of the fire is currently unknown.

Elazığ Governor Numan Hatipoğlu reported that five workers sustained minor injuries in the incident and are receiving medical treatment. Due to the chemical nature of the factory, heavy smoke was visible from various parts of the city.

Emergency response efforts involve the Elazığ Municipality Fire Department, local district fire brigades, police, gendarmerie, and forestry department vehicles. Authorities are working to extinguish the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to surrounding areas.
