Megabox to host UK National Theatre Live 2026 season in South Korea

Megabox, in collaboration with production and distribution company WYS EN SCÈNE, will host the ‘NT Live 2026 Season’ in South Korean cinemas. This program brings live recordings of major productions from the UK’s National Theatre to large screens.

The season features eight different works, beginning with ‘The Misanthrope’ starring Sandra Oh, which runs from September 23 to October 4. The production is a modern adaptation of Molière’s original work, reimagining the protagonist as a contemporary female novelist.

Following the opening, the lineup includes ‘Inter Alia’ (starring Rosamund Pike), ‘Mrs Warren’s Profession’ (starring Imelda Staunton), ‘Golden Boy’ (starring Josh O’Connor), ‘All My Sons’, ‘The Fifth Step’, ‘The Dandy in the West Country’ (starring Nicola Coughlan), and concludes with ‘Frankenstein’ starring Benedict Cumberbatch starting December 30.

Screenings are scheduled three times a week on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
