Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine reveals unreleased tracks

Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine has revealed the existence of at least two unreleased tracks, ‘Bloodlust’ and ‘Farewell My Love’, which were recorded during the sessions for the band’s latest self-titled album. Mustaine also mentioned a potential third track, ‘When Robots Rule’, though he expressed uncertainty regarding the memory due to the lingering effects of past cancer treatments.

Despite the existence of this material, Mustaine indicated a preference for creating new music rather than revisiting archives. The band is currently navigating a farewell period, influenced by Mustaine’s struggle with Dupuytren's disease, which affects his ability to play guitar.

The band’s recent album, ‘Megadeth’, achieved significant commercial success, becoming the first in the group’s history to reach number one on the US Billboard 200. A farewell tour is planned, including European dates in 2027, such as performances in Paris and Lyon, alongside Black Label Society and Testament.
