Megan Schutt reaches 150 ODI and T20I wicket milestone
Australian bowler Megan Schutt has become the first pace bowler to claim at least 150 wickets in both women’s One Day Internationals (ODIs) and T20 Internationals (T20Is). She achieved this milestone during the first ODI against Bangladesh at Allan Border Field in Brisbane on October 9, 2026.
Schutt reached her 150th ODI wicket by dismissing Sharmin Sultana leg-before-wicket. She is the third Australian woman to reach 150 ODI wickets, joining Cathryn Fitzpatrick and Ellyse Perry. In the match, Schutt finished with figures of 2 for 19 from 10 overs, including four maidens. Her performance helped restrict Bangladesh to 166, a total Australia chased down in 25.4 overs to secure a seven-wicket victory and a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.
Annabel Sutherland led the Australian bowling attack with four wickets, while Ashleigh Gardner, Tahlia McGrath, and Georgia Wareham each took one. For Bangladesh, Ritu Moni was the top scorer with 45 runs.
