Megan Thee Stallion signs Interscope distribution deal for upcoming album

Rapper Megan Thee Stallion has announced a new distribution partnership with Interscope Records for her upcoming releases. Under the deal, Interscope will provide global distribution and strategic support, while Megan retains full ownership of her master recordings and publishing through her company, Hot Girl Productions. Roc Nation is also involved in the partnership.

During an appearance on Michelle Obama’s “IMO” podcast, Megan discussed the impact of social media on the music industry, noting that platforms like Instagram make it easy for artists to achieve viral fame even with “terrible” songs. She emphasized the importance of distinguishing between those who seek fame and those who genuinely love their craft.

Megan also teased her upcoming album, tentatively titled “Act III,” which will feature the return of her alter ego, Tina Snow. She described the project as a more intentional and organized creative process, promising collaborations that will “shock the people.”
