Megan Thee Stallion lawsuit moves toward trial over harassment and wage claims

A federal judge, Gregory H. Woods, denied Megan Thee Stallion’s request for summary judgment, allowing the lawsuit filed by former photographer Emilio Garcia to proceed to trial. Garcia alleges the rapper harassed him, created a hostile work environment, engaged in weight‑shaming, and failed to pay wages in violation of labor codes. The complaint also names Megan Thee Stallion Entertainment, Hot Girl Touring, and Roc Nation as defendants.

The suit references a 2022 incident in Ibiza where Garcia says he was trapped in a car while Megan was having sex with another woman and was later told, “Don’t ever discuss what you saw.” The judge found conflicting evidence on the harassment and wage‑and‑hour claims, concluding that a jury must resolve the disputed facts. Both sides are expected to submit estimates of trial length before a calendar date is set.

Garcia’s attorney Ron Zambrano said the case is “looking forward to having his day in court,” while Megan’s legal team continues to deny the allegations, describing them as a “money grab.”
