Megaron Athens Concert Hall announces 2026-2027 season

The Megaron Athens Concert Hall has announced an extensive cultural program spanning from September 2026 through early 2027. The schedule features a variety of international and Greek artists across classical, jazz, and dance disciplines.

Key highlights include the opening of the Beethoven 200 cycle by the Quatuor Modigliani and a three-day tribute to composer George Aperghis. The Cleveland Orchestra, led by Franz Welser-Möst, is scheduled to perform in Greece for the first time on October 21. Other major performances include Janine Jansen, the Camerata Orchestra of the Friends of Music, and the Vienna Symphony Orchestra.

In the realm of dance, the Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch will present ‘Vollmond’ in November. The Jazz@Megaron series will feature Billy Cobham and Ekep Nkwelle. The season also includes holiday festivities and a tribute to Dionysis Savvopoulos in January 2027, alongside art exhibitions such as ‘AFALES’ by Danae Stratou.
