Megatone closes Paraná branch amid declining consumption

The appliance retailer Megatone has permanently closed its Megatone Net branch located at San Martín 813 in the pedestrian area of Paraná, Argentina. The store, which opened in May 2022 as part of a regional expansion strategy, operated for approximately four years.

The closure follows a progressive reduction in staff and is attributed to shifting consumer habits, the rise of digital sales, and a national decline in consumption. Of the eight original employees, only four remained prior to the closure; one has left the company, and the remaining three will be relocated to the company’s other local branch on Avenida Almafuerte 1346.
