MegaTrans logistics event to focus on technology and emissions
The MegaTrans logistics and supply chain conference is scheduled for September 16–17 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. As Australia’s largest integrated exhibition for the sector, the event aims to address the urgent need for advanced technology and infrastructure, particularly as freight volumes are projected to grow by 26 per cent over the next 30 years.
The 2026 exhibitor directory features several global brands and industry leaders, including Amazon, DP World, Maersk, UPS, and WiseTech Global.
In a new partnership, the ANZ Clean Freight Council has joined as an official Association Partner. This collaboration focuses on the practical challenges of transitioning to a lower-emissions future. The partnership aims to address a significant capability gap in emissions reporting; currently, only about five per cent of road freight operators can produce accurate, compliant emissions data. This is a critical issue as mandatory climate-related reporting requirements expand in Australia, requiring thousands of companies to report supply chain emissions starting in 2028.
