Megawide secures PHP 12.8B in Philippine social housing contracts
Megawide Construction Corp. has secured PHP 12.8 billion in new contracts under the Expanded Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program. The contracts involve two major social housing developments: the 4PH Nocal Residences in North Caloocan, valued at PHP 6.9 billion for 3,800 units, and the 4PH Sumi Residences in Imus, Cavite, valued at PHP 5.9 billion for 4,500 units. Both projects are slated to begin construction before December 2026, with a target completion date of December 2028.
These new awards bring Megawide’s total 4PH housing portfolio to nearly 20,000 units. In a related development, Megawide and the Pag-IBIG Fund recently celebrated the first topping-off milestone for the JAB Residences in Cavite. This milestone signifies the completion of the main structural works for two residential buildings within the development, which aims to provide nearly 4,000 housing units for Filipino workers. The JAB Residences project features 17 five-story buildings, with units priced at approximately PHP 1.5 million.
