Meghan Markle and Prince Harry relocate to UK

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are relocating to Britain, leaving their flock of rescue chickens behind at their Montecito estate in the United States. The birds, housed in a coop named ‘Archie’s Chick Inn’, will remain in California under the care of household staff.

Meghan Markle addressed the situation on her Instagram Stories with a joke, stating, ‘People who take care of chickens are literally chicken tenders.’ While the chickens are staying in the US, the couple’s dogs, Mia and Pula, will accompany the family on their transatlantic move.

The Sussex family is expected to settle in a non-royal residence in the UK, with speculation suggesting the Cotswolds. Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet are scheduled to begin new schools in early September. The couple intends to maintain their properties in both Montecito and Portugal, and Meghan plans to continue operating her lifestyle brand, As Ever, from their new UK base.
