Meghann Fahy cast to star in Smokeshow limited series

Meghann Fahy has been cast to star in Smokeshow, a new limited series described as part thriller and part dark romantic comedy. The project, which follows a competitive bidding war, was secured by SK Global and David E. Kelley Productions.

The series is based on an upcoming novel by Catriona Stewart, a San Francisco-based communications strategist. Kirstie Swain is set to adapt the novel for television. The plot centers on a covert operative named Rory, played by Fahy, who becomes entangled with her target, Nolan, forcing her to choose between her professional life and a chance at freedom.

Fahy will serve as a producer alongside David E. Kelley, Matthew Tinker, and Shelby Leshine. The project is expected to be pitched to buyers in the coming weeks, though an official release date has not yet been announced.
