Megi Goran Koshanin joins De Florio Nuovi Orizzonti

Megi Goran Koshanin has joined the De Florio Nuovi Orizzonti basketball team in Taranto for the upcoming Serie B season. Originally from Bulgaria, Koshanin has developed an extensive career within the Italian basketball system.

Her experience in Italy began in Ancona, where she competed in the Under 18 and Under 20 youth championships before moving into Serie B. Following her time in the Marche region, she spent a year in Umbria and four seasons in the Lazio region, playing for teams in Rome and Aprilia. Koshanin noted that these diverse experiences across different cities and coaching styles have been vital to her physical, mental, and professional growth.

Despite receiving multiple offers from other clubs, Koshanin stated that the proposal from De Florio was the right choice for her personal and professional needs.
