Megyn Kelly faces criticism over comments on sexual assault victim and Alex Cooper

Media personality Megyn Kelly has drawn criticism from actress Alyssa Milano and faced backlash for recent comments regarding a sexual assault case involving a Cornell University student. Milano, writing on Substack, accused Kelly of commodifying the abuse of women after Kelly made disparaging remarks about the accuser’s physical appearance during a discussion of the case.

In a separate segment on her show, Kelly also criticized podcaster Alex Cooper, questioning her involvement in the Me Too movement. Kelly characterized Cooper as someone attempting to take credit for a movement without having personally faced or spoken out against misconduct, further labeling her a “slut with zero values” and suggesting her platform endangers young women.
