Mehidy Hasan Miraz leads Guyana Amazon Warriors to victory over Trinbago Knight Riders

Mehidy Hasan Miraz delivered a standout performance for the Guyana Amazon Warriors in their Caribbean Premier League (CPL) victory over the Trinbago Knight Riders. In his second CPL appearance, the Bangladeshi all-rounder claimed four wickets for 23 runs in four overs, including key dismissals of Colin Munro and Nicholas Pooran.

Following his successful debut against the Saint Lucia Kings, where he took three wickets, Miraz’s bowling helped restrict the Knight Riders to 126 runs. The Amazon Warriors chased down the target to win by six wickets. Miraz was named Player of the Match for his efforts.

Guyana captain Imran Tahir also contributed significantly to the bowling attack. The victory secures the Warriors' position as a strong contender heading into the CPL playoffs, while the loss eliminates the Trinbago Knight Riders from playoff contention.
