Mehmet Karaca joins AK Party as Türkoğlu Mayor

Mehmet Karaca, the Mayor of Türkoğlu in Kahramanmaraş, has officially joined the AK Party after leaving the Yeniden Refah Party. The transition was formalized during a program attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who personally presented Karaca with his new party badge.

Following his move, Karaca stated that his commitment to serving the people of Türkoğlu remains unchanged. He emphasized that his primary goal is to meet the needs of the district more efficiently and to strengthen future development projects. Karaca also addressed his previous supporters, noting that his political shift does not mean leaving anyone behind and that he intends to continue his work with an inclusive and equitable approach.
