Mehmet Lermi dies after motorcycle accident in Erzurum

Mehmet Lermi, a 37-year-old amateur footballer and local tradesman, has died following a motorcycle accident in Erzurum. Lermi had traveled to Erzurum to visit former football colleagues when the accident occurred.

Lermi was a well-known figure in the Trabzon amateur football community, having played for Vakfıkebir 1874 Spor and Beşikdüzü Yeşilköyspor. Following his death, a funeral service was held at the Eski Taş Mosque in Vakfıkebir. He was subsequently laid to rest in the family cemetery in the Tonya district.
